Mike passed away 5:31 am this morning. Mike was a good friend and car guy all the way. He will be missed by many. I’m sure he’s starting his own car club in heaven, gives us something to look forward to. See ya later Mike

Michael R. James Sr., age 66, of Deptford passed away Sunday, October 14th in Cooper University Hospital, Camden. Born in Walsenberg, Colorado he was the son of the late Jesse and Sadie Bravo James. Mr. James was a telephone technician for AT&T. He was an avid car enthusiast who belonged to the South Jersey Camaro Club. Mr. James is survived by his wife the former, Diane McLeod; son, Michael James Jr. of New Bern, NC; daughter, Marci Turner & husband Jim of Pilesgrove; step-daughter, Susan Erace & husband John of Runnemede; brother, Albert James & wife Carol of Pennsville; sister, Ruth Shimp & husband David Jr. of Quinton; and five grandchildren, Derrick, Kayce, Mason, Jackson and Andrew. He is predeceased by his brother, Ronald James. A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Friday, October 19th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
