Mike passed away 5:31 am this morn­ing. Mike was a good friend and car guy all the way. He will be missed by many. I’m sure he’s start­ing his own car club in heaven, gives us some­thing to look for­ward to. See ya later Mike

Michael R. James Sr., age 66, of Dept­ford passed away Sun­day, Octo­ber 14th in Cooper Uni­ver­sity Hos­pi­tal, Cam­den. Born in Walsen­berg, Col­orado he was the son of the late Jesse and Sadie Bravo James. Mr. James was a tele­phone tech­ni­cian for AT&T. He was an avid car enthu­si­ast who belonged to the South Jer­sey Camaro Club. Mr. James is sur­vived by his wife the for­mer, Diane McLeod; son, Michael James Jr. of New Bern, NC; daugh­ter, Marci Turner & hus­band Jim of Piles­grove; step-daughter, Susan Erace & hus­band John of Run­nemede; brother, Albert James & wife Carol of Pennsville; sis­ter, Ruth Shimp & hus­band David Jr. of Quin­ton; and five grand­chil­dren, Der­rick, Kayce, Mason, Jack­son and Andrew. He is pre­de­ceased by his brother, Ronald James. A memo­r­ial ser­vice will be held 12:00 noon Fri­day, Octo­ber 19th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quin­ton Twp. where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Inter­ment will be pri­vate.
